Instagram for Local Businesses: Win Customers for Your Café, Salon or Boutique

What's inside this course?

For a neighborhood café, hair salon, boutique or gym, Instagram is not an entertainment account. It is a customer channel. This course is built for owners who can't spare more than an hour a day. The goal is not to go viral; it is to make sure the right people around you find you, message you and walk through your door.

What's inside this course?

• Goals and measurement: How to track real customer signals such as calls, direction taps, DMs and bookings instead of follower counts.
• Profile setup: Business account, contact buttons, address, opening hours and a bio that builds trust at first glance.
• Local discovery: Location tags, local hashtags and using your Google Business Profile together with Instagram.
• Content ideas by industry: Ready-made idea tables for cafés, restaurants, salons, boutiques and gyms.
• Reviews and user-generated content: Collecting what your customers share and asking for consent before posting their photos.
• From DMs and WhatsApp to bookings: Quick-reply templates you can copy and use right away.
• Small-budget ads: The basics of Meta ads, local targeting and realistic expectations.
• A 30-day local growth plan: A week-by-week, measurable action list.

Each lesson is a short read and ends with a concrete task. The first two lessons are free, so you can start fixing your account today. The course is entirely about organic growth and good communication. It does not promise results, but it gives you a solid roadmap that works for most local businesses.
